The Veen Observatory is fully booked for the 2024 season. You may make a reservation next year on any available date April 1 through November 1, 2025.

Important: Veen Observatory field trips can be scheduled on any available evening Sunday through Friday from April 1st through November 1st. A non-refundable Group Fee will be paid online upon filling out the Group Reservation Form above. If needed, in the event of cloudy weather the group will communicate directly with their Lead Host to coordinate an alternate visit date at no additional cost. If no telescopic observing is possible, an alternate program with a tour of the facility and explanation of the telescopes can be provided. Length of visit varies depending on the group and viewing conditions but averages one and one half to two hours.
